He was selected to WHO'S WHO IN WILDLIFE ART in the 1980s and he
has won 15 STAMP/PRINT COMPETITIONS to date. He
was selected GEORGIA GOVERNOR'S "ARTIST OF
EXCCELLANCE" in 1986, QUAIL UNLIMITED'S 10 ANNIVERSARY ARTIST,
WATERFOWL USA'S 10TH ANNIVERSARY ARTIST and the winner
of the GEORGIA STATE DUCK STAMP all in the same year.
Partee has created 21 national TICKET PRINTS AND SPONSOR
PRINTS FOR DUCKS UNIMITED and in 1991 Partee was selected
to the PEOPLE OF THE CENTURY "'PERMANENT ART
COLLECTION" of the SMITHSONIAN MUSEUM and later that year he
was chosen HOST ARTIST for the WILDLIFE AMERICA
EXPOSITION.
Jim's wildlife art originals and limited edition prints have raised in excess of 11 million dollars for the top wildlife non-profit wildlife associations throughout North America. He has received countless awards from Ducks Unlimited, Quail Unlimited, National Wild Turkey Federation, Waterfowl USA and many others during the past thirty years. Partee has been featured in over 740 chapter auction banquets across the nation, his work has been featured on over 30 wildlife and sporting magazine covers and Partee has appeared in 23 televised hunting, sporting and fishing shoes since 1981.
Partee's work continues in great demand throughout the US, Mexico and Europe. During the past decade several international hotel chains in Nevada, Mexico and the Carribean have contracted Jim to do a series of paintings and murals to enhance their properties.
