Scott Shepherd

Scott ShepherdA veteran Film/TV/Stage Producer, Scott was also the official actor portraying the Lone Ranger from 2000-2002, with previous trademark owner Golden Books Family Entertainment. Embarking on a nationwide tour, talk show appearances and TV commercials. Scott received a Proclamation from Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman declaring February 7th as Scott Shepherd Lone Ranger Day. Scott’s recent film as a producer, with Astrabula Media, is National Lampoon’s Cattle Call, released by Lionsgate in May 2008. Scott is involved with Kevin Easatman’s (creator of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) Fistful of Blood Trilogy. Focusing on westerns, he is in development on two films with producer/actor Sean Bridgers, of HBO’s Deadwood.

Scott is the founder of Frontier Riders, Inc., a consulting company for western themed productions. Scott formed the company in 1996 and has consulted for over 300 western themed stunt shows. For his Film/TV work, in 2002 Scott was honored by the Southern California Motion Picture Council. He received the Jeannie Emerald Star Angel Award for his contribution to the entertainment industry. He also received the Buck Jones Award for western film preservation.

Scott was involved with the marketing and promotions with Zorro Productions, owners of the Zorro trademark. This included films Legend of Zorro and Mask of Zorro with Antonio Banderas.

Scott was inducted into the World Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 1994 along with renowned martial artists/actors Don “The Dragon” Wilson and Jeff Speakman. Scott has been involved with the martial arts for over 25 years.

Scott, originally from NY and CT, spent most of his years growing up in the country region, riding horses and attending rodeos. He is also involved with various aspects of the professional rodeo circuit. Scott and his wife Brandy live in Las Vegas.
