The proud father of one son,19yr old Brian Gene Gates, And his siggnificant other *Jeanne has Twin 18 yr old sons Daniel and Jason and one daugher Melody ,Together they have a grandson Joey and Grandaughter Kaylee , Master Brian Gates, currently holds the rank of eighth degree blackbelt and has been awarded numerous times for success in martial arts / karate, full contact kickboxing, heavyweight champion and "coach" trainer as well as student trainer with some of the world's top athletes in many styles and origins of martial arts. With great pride, he passes his experience and supreme level of training techniques and life skills to his pupils.

Training formally since 1981 and operating a martial arts center since 1985, Master Gates has been promoting Martial Arts, Karate, Kickboxing, Mixed Martial Arts, and national and international championships since 1988. He was recently appointed to the board of directors of the Pennsylvania Referees Association, Karate World Ratings, National Organization Of Registered Martial Arts League, and the International Referees Commission. He also provides executive bodyguard protection to the elite businesspersons of the world and some of Hollywood's most recognized celebrities and music stars, performs death-defying car crashes as a H ollywood stuntman, and has demonstrated his martial arts skills and power-breaking feats for many public events as well as ESPN-TV.

Master Brian Gates has and continues to perform explosive and dynamic Hollywood stunts in the areas of auto crashes, cycle crashes, jumps, and full-body burns.
He has and continues to work with many elite stuntmen such as Spanky Spangler and has appeared on FOX-TV, How'd They Do That?, ESPN, TNT, The History Channel, The Discovery Channel, A & E and TNN.
He also has performed at live Hollywood action stunt shows at NASCAR Races in Charlotte, North Carolina where he performed death defying car crashes in front of 250,000 onlookers. He was the Stunt Coordinator for FOX-TV's How'd They Do That?, working with Spanky Spangler, professional stuntman. He has appeared in films,20such as Sudden Death and The Wonderboys, television shows, such as Knievel's Wild Ride, The History Channel with Evel Knievel as his bodyguard .commericals. He acts, entertains, performs stunts, appears at charity events, and more.
Master Gates is a professional bodyguard / executive protection specialist and continues to provide his services to the most elite of celebrities.

Master Gates was the 1st Certified Travel Marshal in Pennsylv ania, and the 43rd in the USA after 9/11, instructing cabin crews, flight attendants and pilots in air defense as well as in flight security and protection. He is an American In Defense and World Blackbelt Certified Instructor Member.
An eighth degree blackbelt, Master Gates operates a professional martial arts training center in Pennsylvania, which was featured in Blackbelt Magazine. Master Gates is the successful event promoter for the Pennsylvania Open Championships, the Tri- State Internationals, and The Keystone International Martial Arts Championships. He can also be seen officiating at the Battle of Baltimore World Championships with Master John Burdyck. Some of Master Gates’ recognized guests have been Joe Lewis, three-time UFC Champion, Dan "The Beast" Severn, World Karate Champion, author, and film star Bill "Superfoot" Wallace, film and television star Jeff Speakman, "The Perfect Weapon," Miss Pennsylvania Marla Wynne, PKA Referee and film and television star Jay T Will, and film and television star Ho Sung Pak, who plays the Ninja Turtle Raphael. The Keystone Internationals have also been featured in the internationally-renowned Karate Illustrated Magazine.
Master Gates has been training in the martial arts for more than 29 years20in all various styles of Martial Arts, Tae Kwon Do, Tang Soo Do, Soo, Bahk Do, Jui Jitsu, Kenpo, BJJ, MMA, and many Chinese Kung Fu Systems as well as Full-Contact Kickboxing.
He is an active board member on several levels in the martial arts community. He has most recently been appointed to the board of directors of the Pennsylvania Referees Association and the International Referees Commission, The Karate World Ratings Systems, and is a board member of N.O.R.M.A.L. (National Organization of Registered Martial Artists League).
Master Brian Gates is also the founder of the International Federation of Mixed Martial Arts. The IFMMA is an organization where all martial arts students, instructors, and schools may unite, become certified, and strong in their perspective arts.
